  1. See the Marlboro add in pole position !! That wouldn’t be allowed today

  2. Scramble was my favourite – as long as it wasn’t a modded machine with a four-way joystick instead of an eight-way one. You couldn’t get to the final base without an eight-way. I once played it for so long, the arcade owner pulled the plug as it was getting near closing time.

Other favourites: Crazy Climber, Avatar, Phoenix, Crystal Castles, Vanguard, Tempest and Mr Do! (With the exclamation mark, of course). Most annoying: Hunchback. That swinging rope drove me mad!

  3. I'm not sure what standards you are using but how could you put Donkey Kong so far down the list and not even mention Centipede? Those should be in the top three with Pakman.

  4. I never noticed a Marlboro sign in Pole Position when I was a kid. Big tobacco claims they never advertised to kids. Lol

  5. Those were the days and damn I miss 'em! I would have put Hyper Sports in there though 😉

  6. Top 5 games of historical importance Super mario Bros 3, Pac-Man, Tetris, Donkey Kong, Pong. That list will have lots of sleepless nights debates but at least one single game i mention will make somebody else top 5 no questions ask

  7. Missing Rygar and Flying Shark and 1941 and Gauntlet……………………… Elf has shot the food

  8. Great list. Play the majority of these today. Contains 95% of my favorite games from the 80s.

  9. I’m sorry but I completely disagree with this line up of games.

  10. My name was in 1st place on all these game.

  11. No Nemisis or Super Mario Bros. Super Mario should be number 1 in this list Fact

  12. Bubble Bobble is #1. It has awesome single player and amazing co-op mode. It also has so many secrets.. it's way way beyond anything else till today. This game is VERY deep. (Rainbow Islands as well…). My top 5 are… Bubble Bobble, Out Run, Rainbow Islands, Shinobi, Ghost N' Goblins.

  13. 😂🤣😂 Thanks for taking me back to the 80s when I was young 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 My favourite game will always be space invaders. The first consoles in ‘78 had black and white screens with coloured cellophane.

  14. My own personal honorable mentions I would add are Punch Out and Kung Fu. Great list, though.

  15. Rampage, TMNT and the ultimate Dbl dragon with baseball bat, Heck yes and I'm only on no 13

  16. Wow I remember playing those games in my childhood from the 80’s

  17. I’d add Time Pilot, Scramble, Bad Dudes in my top 10

  18. Long live aliexpress where you can buy a console where you can play them all

  19. I used to love Gauntlet. At the latter end 80s / early 90s WWF superstars and Wrestlefest were amazing. Cant belive Iron Man Off Road isnt in this list with all its nitro action !

  20. Hey no mention of Gyruss, Excite Bike, Time Pilot, Kung Fu Master, Gradius, or Jail Break. I think I'm going to be sick.

  21. No 720? Track N Field? Space Ace? Robotron? Ikari Warriors? Super Street Fighter? Yeir Air Kung Fu? Congo Bongo? Tekken? Mortal Kombat? Killer Instinct? Time Crisis? Heavy Barrel? Forgotten Worlds? Tempest? Discs of Tron?! Crossbow? Ms Pac-man omg wth

  22. I spend alot of quarters on double dragon

  23. PLAYED THIS GAME DURING THE NINETYS IN A CAR SEAT ARCADE…FOR EVERY 66 TIMES I PLAYED IT I CLOCKED !T…IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT…3 MINOR ERRORS IS PERMITTED…SAME AMOUNT OF INDUCTIONS TO TEACH SOMEONE HOW TO FISH EH?

  24. Pacman as #1 is a total joke.

    Too repetitive.

  25. Double Dragon was the only game I completed in arcade.

  26. Awesome list!!! 😀 😀 😀 My childhood! 😀 <3 Thx for this 🙂

  27. Paper Boy is a C L A S S I C!!! And it had the handle bars with the rubber ribbed grip…like a real dirt bike at the time

  28. Creo que faltó el juego Tumble Pop de Data East, y el Snow Bros de Toaplan.
