KANEKO Arcade Games | TROldSchool
Ah, Samurai Nihon-Ichi! The first Kaneko game I ever played, when I was in third grade. I have a PCB of it, along with a marquee and bezel. I just need to get a control panel overlay to have the full set of artwork, unless there is side art I don’t know about.
A lot of these games are graphically impressive for their respective years.
Fun fact – Fly Boy was released in North America, and maybe elsewhere outside Japan, by Atari under the title Fast Freddie. The biggest difference between Fast Freddie and Fly Boy is the fact that the map gauge at the bottom of the screen is replaced with a kick meter, which depletes as you kick. Once it runs out, you are rendered defenseless, so you really have to judge the right time to kick at your enemies! If you’re interested in playing this version, it was available on Antstream the last time I checked, and may still be there.
I love how their most prolific series was derived from a Qix clone lol.
About 3 months ago I downloaded the complete MAME ROM set, thinking I'll finally copy and configure all the games I think I will want to play in the rest of my life, but it's not that easy! I've done a handful every day, so far about 360 games, and I keep finding more to put in, partly thanks to the videos on this channel. Too bad about all the games with trackball, racing wheel/transmission and dial controls. Like, there's a really awesome looking golf game on the Sega System 24, but it has a "unique" controller part on the original cabinet for the swing power and thus cannot be emulated.
I love your videos .
🎉
Fighting rollers looks amazing for 1983. That was 40 years ago!
Kaneko have a lot of good games

Great 1000 Miles Rally 1 & 2 – cool cars and vibe. There should be a Kaneko collection for consoles (maybe there is?)
👍 some great titles for sure!
Thank you for my request and your video is awesome 😁👍👏👏👏
I hate all the gall panic
One more of this
There should be an Evercade Kaneko Arcade Collection !
Excellent! Fantastic! Liked! ✌🏾😃
i need more gals panic/qix type games.
Boggy 84. A heavily overlooked arcade game. Love it.
All games are almost the same type with simple graphics.
So many arcade games I never heard before.. Thanks for uploading this!
The games on Turbografx 16 were much cooler.
Buen video! Tienes mi like!
Thank you very much for making us see the arcade games that we didn't get to play. Much appreciated 👍
Please make a video about fighting games and mugen games 🙏✨
Great video as always. Someone should make a new top down rally game. There are similar games on steam, but they either look poor or are multiplayer experiences (art of rally looks nice, but it's a totally different game from what I want). Really, just make a new game with good gameplay that is nice to look at (and with less memorization necessary), maybe add a smart gimmick and I'll buy it.
I miss Gals Panic
I have Power Athlete for Super Famicom, not a very good game but the music and characters are cool.
