I never even realised it sang "Lets go away"? I just assumed it was some Japanese sentence haha! Such a banger of a song though, truly gets the heart thumping even though the lyrics are laughable!
I close my eyes as i listen to this can i can see it: A poorly lit Arcade with barely any walking space between cabinets, on the second floor of a mall surrounded by closed shops, smelly, with the air at full blast to the point you could catch a cold, and with a small cabin in the center where a 47 year old balding man who hated both kids and videogames and had not showered in a week took 10 minutes to count $5 worth of tokens.
90% of the cabinets had games that were at least 5+ years old and outdated, but confusingly, two of them hosted some Japanese only games that had released only a week prior in Japan, next to a basketball machine with the ring missing the net and an Air Hokey system that was perfectly functional but was so old that most of the metal had chipped off.
And at the very back of the shop, two Daytona USA setups, uncomfortably stuck together, and this music blasting at all times, louder than any other.
Blasting this on Daytona beach right now. Always pops into my head when in Daytona. Never forget playing this on my sets Saturn. Loved it great memories.
