oh man i love this, i remember as a wee kid we had this game in the arcade hall.. i was really bad at it but i was always in awe of how awsome and epic this game was and the arcade itself was like crazy.. big ass mounted guns in a submarine-esque cabine it was wild.

not gonna lie the kraken scared the shit out of me as a kid
Scylla and Umi Bozu are the mini bosses i hate the most to fight against. They just straight up ramming us from the void without any warning. Like i lost quite a lot of credits back then just to revive from that void ramming asshole.
If you attack the white death enough before it kills the diver you can save him and get a secret boss later in the level
I don't understand why SEGA never releases on Dreamcast, The game is so freakin' good!
This game was a huge part of my childhood. When my wife and I first started dating we beat it together when we first when to my beach for vacation together in Delaware.
This thing is my childhood…. It feels great seeing it again
Now I know what House of the Dead would sound like if it was scored by Gauntlet Legends.
