A field/shooting game with excellent graphics for the time. You maneuver ‘Kapt’n Krooz’r’ around the screen in his spaceship. The terrain is an orange moon scene, various cartoonish monsters dot the landscape. You must blast the monsters in pairs to make them vanish. Later levels introduce even more complex rules as to what can be shot. You control your ship with the trackball, while using the joystick to aim and shoot. The controls feel natural with a little practice, but the game quickly becomes very difficult on the higher levels.

Note: Invincibility cheat was when down to last life. The game is endless.

  1. I remember playing this at Chuck E. Cheese's back in the 80's. It is the only video game I know of that used a joystick and trackball combination as the controls.

  2. I originally saw this game on a game show called Starcade when I was a kid, and I didn't come across it in an arcade until I just saw it at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas last week. I played it once because I wanted to try it, but I don't really care for it because it's difficult for me to scan the screen to find the matching pairs to shoot.

  3. I don't care what anyone says… cheat codes are TOTALLY fair game when showing these hard-assed old games off to people of the future.

  4. i loved playing this on Midway Arcade Treasures 2. I love the lessert known titles on there

  5. I just found this game today at the Barcade in Chelsea, NYC. Even the cabinet was skewed.
    Fun to try

  6. This video game sure had me think of Mike Houghtaling; that's one of the aliens in this video game that did. Knowing that one of them looks like him. I once thought of saying isn't that flying saucer too small for the kozmik kruzr? It's not an RV, a cruise liner ship, and a hospital all rolled in one.
