  1. This is not true. Funspot in Laconia, New Hampshire is the largest golden age arcade on the East Coast.

  2. The Arcade was like a bar, for kids. They were awesome!

  3. 02:41 I'm no gaming historian, but i didn't think that particular console was an 80's console?
that place is nuts! i lived in the arcade during the 80's. (my hs years.) you've done an amazing
job with that place. I've never been to an AirBnB. I'm only about 10/11 hour drive away. hmm?

  4. 04:55 you could've just done what you were doing there to show us all the games. walk slow past each one recording (no need to stop.) and let that segment play at like 8x.
then we can just slow it down and see each cabinet.

  5. 80's themed Arcade with a 1950's themed bathroom? interesting choice.

  6. I wonder what his monthly electric bill is. I bet the electric company is wondering why this one house is pulling so much power.

  7. Killer house and arcade. The game selection is bitch'n.

  8. That was my childhood right there I was born in 1975 so I grew up In the 80s and it was an amazing time to grow up it was the start of all Arcades and computers so it was the first time seeing all these games I had a Magnavox Odyssey box which was in your video and I had zx Spectrum as well as a kid was amazing had go to the shop to buy the tape everything now is too easy and it was the first time seeing all the Arcades fir the first time I had so many great memories as a kid my 2 favorite games was Outrun and Starwars thank you for this video and to the guy who made it all wow what a guy wish we had something like this in UK

  9. Wowzers one of the greatest videos ever! I rather stay a couple nights here than flying to another country!

  10. I'm from the UK & was heavily into the arcades in the 80's. Even back then I used to imagine how cool it would be to live in a house with an arcade. Staying in a place like this would be a dream come true!

  11. I thought I saw Bosconian game. I am fortunate that I can go to s game room here in Mesa Az

  12. Not many kids from Generation Z would appreciate Generation X's era of the 80's. You guys rock.

  13. The only thing missing is a crowd of people around your machine when you're doing well.

  14. This 80's Airbnb looks awesome, but is missing one element I see in pretty much in all arcades currently. Since I grew up in the 80's, a lot of arcades back then, were a little bit smoky in the arcade environment due to cigarette smoke in the air or people coming back into the arcade after a quick smoke from outside. Had this smoky, dinginess, lived in feel to the atmosphere, that I loved, even though I don't smoke. Be nice if arcades would introduce fog machines to bellow out fog in the air to give that simulated feeling of a smoky atmosphere, to give that more 80's simulated feel of an arcade back then.

  15. This place has my name all over it. I was born in 1976. I would just add posters of Miami Vice, The Police, Duran Duran, and Depeche Mode.

  16. OMG, I have never heard of anything like this before. I'm a total classic arcade guy. I grew up in the 70's and the entire 80's. This is an awesome place I would love to visit myself. Is there a link ? I think you said there would be.
Does Scott have any Nintendo arcade cabinets in his arcade.

  17. I’m on the west, so this is a bucket list goal now! I need to stay in this place!

  18. Freaking amazing, don't let this end before I can afford to get there.

  19. 1:06 We had that clock/phone combination ourselves and the same VCR tape holder

  20. I gotta nitpick for the sake of it (sorry but I gotta): SNES released in '91, both the "New-Style" NES and SEGA Genesis model 2 were released in '93, the SEGA 32X in '94, Nintendo VirtualBoy in '95, and the Turbografx-16 just BARELY makes it in at Aug 1989.. Also highly prevalent in the 80s were mid-to-late-70s items. So that means… shag carpeting (dark brown/light-beige/green/orange/honey-yellow) and linoleum flooring, drinking glasses from fast-food places (E.T., Return of the Jedi, Flintstones) and dark-red PizzaHut glasses, Tupperware (orange/honey/green) and maybe toss in a couple of those macrame owls on the wall and/or flower-pot-holders hanging from the ceiling. Also that bed is BEGGING for a Hasbro Glo Worm.
Would the above deter me from a visit? Heck no!!

Edit: Ridiculous amount of bonus points for the breakfast treys in the stairwell!!

  21. Totally awesome video you guys nailed it! He should of included touch tone phones. Would be funny seeing kids of today trying to call someone 😁 if ever I'm out that way I'll definitely would stay for a couple of weeks!

And you don't have to tell me, I gave your video a thumbs up, subscribed and saved

  22. The 80s were my teenage years — graduated high school in 1990.
I actually HAD that cassette holder at 1:52.

  23. Wow very cool! I live in Charlotte, NC and would LOVE to take my 8 year old daughter for one of the monthly open houses. Is there a website? I did reach out to Scott on AirBNB but they don't allow you to share contact info and we wouldn't need to stay overnight. Thanks!

  24. Better keep that pizza grease off the machines!😂

  25. You had me until I saw the electric range. That's the deal breaker for me.

  26. Only 280 a night ! Reserve your night asap, before the price goes up !

  27. This place is fucking amazing stayed there a couple months ago! Scott is awesome!

  28. What. Go there. Some. Time. Check. It. It.

  29. I love the thumbnail of that woman feeling excited to go back in time.

  30. Lived in South Tahoe as a teen in the early 80's. Would spend several hours in the local and casino arcades. Those modern arcades are like graveyards compare to the 80s when you could barely walk through a casino arcade. Same could be said for the casino gambling floor.

  31. AIRbnb it's mixing nice warm waterbed very popular in the 80s just saying.

  32. Its amazing! They are so young. How can they enjoy the 80s entertainment?

  33. Honestly the most amazing thing is he can keep all the machines powered without burning the house down!
